We know that the COVID-19 crisis has caused major disruptions for the careers of individuals who earn income through their work in the cultural sector. In response, we have launched a relief fund for individuals.
This year we were able to fund all eligible STARS Residencies thanks to a record-level of investment by the state Legislature in our FY22 budget.
Last month, Mass Cultural Council proudly awarded 15 new Amplify grants for 2020 totaling $22,500.
At the time of her retirement, Walker, nationally recognized as an innovative and visionary leader for the creative economy and nonprofit cultural sector, will have led the Council for more than 13 years.
