Our Vision for Communities
The Community Initiative
There is no community without culture: it defines our understanding of the world, provides us with a shared language, and creates meaningful connections between people, places, and institutions. More specifically, culture enriches the quality of life and well-being of individuals and families across Massachusetts. That’s why we support Local Cultural Councils, festival organizers, Cultural Districts, and artists and nonprofit cultural organizations to deliver powerful cultural experiences to everyone in our communities.
