This fiscal year Mass Cultural Council is investing $1.15 million into classrooms across the Commonwealth with 283 grants to support creative learning through the arts, humanities, and sciences for Massachusetts’ students.
Organizational support. The term is synonymous with those hard-to-find, but never enough, unrestricted operating funds. Funds that help the organization deliver on its mission by paying salaries, rent, the electric bill, and the all-important toilet paper order.

Mass Cultural Council anticipates announcing the 2021 round of Cultural Facilities Fund grants this fall.
On Thursday the state House of Representatives approved a budget plan for the next fiscal year that calls for investing $16.6 million in the arts, humanities, and sciences through the Mass Cultural Council. The House proposal would add $533,000 for arts and cultural funding in Fiscal Year 2020, which begins July 1.
As part of our commitment to support the sustainability and viability of festivals in Massachusetts, we have enlisted 10 festivals to take part in a year-long Festivals Audience Lab.
