FY24 Allocation
$8,400
FY24 Local Priorities
Priority is given to events, programs and activities that take place in Shirley and/or surrounding areas that serve Shirley residents and are sponsored or supported by a local Shirley organization.
FY24 Local Guidelines
Applications and supplemental materials must be submitted online in accordance with state guidelines.
Applicants must have a specified venue with a tenative date, and time to be considered for grant approval.
Activities must take place in an accessible facility.
Applicants who have partnered with a Shirley organization must submit a letter of support.
The scheduled project should take place during the current MCC funding cycle (Jan – Dec 2024).
Proposals are evaluated in terms of the following considerations:
• Benefit to the community
• Quality of the activity
• Evidence of planning (project dates, times, and venue secured)
• Qualifications of the individual(s) who will lead the activity
• Track record of the sponsoring group
