Pelham Cultural Council
The Pelham Cultural Council, whose members are appointed by the Pelham Select Board, is funded and governed by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, which annually provides funding to each city and town in the Commonwealth to support the arts, humanities, and interpretive science programs. The Pelham Cultural Council is committed to funding a diverse range of projects, which meet the interests and needs of children and adults in our community.

FY22 Local Priorities
The Pelham Cultural Council’s general funding priorities include:
– arts programs in the schools (K-12)
– projects celebrating Pelham’s history, culture, and environment
– programs featuring Pelham visual and performing artists, writers, musicians, scientists, historians, or other subject area experts
– programs which feature global perspectives.
Up to 3 pages (total) of supporting documents may be uploaded with proposals / applications. Letters of support and commitment from venues where programs are proposed to take place are strongly encouraged, as are resumes, promotional materials, and/or reviews of previous programs.
Please note: Grants through this program are reimbursement-based. The applicant expends their own money, and if approved for a grant, then submits paperwork for reimbursement.
