Today Mass Cultural Council welcomes Michael J. Bobbitt on his first day as its new Executive Director. In December his appointment was unanimously endorsed by the Agency’s governing Board. Michael joins us from New Repertory Theatre in Watertown, MA. He has dedicated his professional career to arts leadership, and is a successful director, choreographer, and playwright. As Executive Director of Mass Cultural Council, Michael serves as the most senior cultural official in the Commonwealth.
Mass Cultural Council will host a series of five public listening sessions with Michael throughout the week of February 22. Each session will seek to focus on a specific region of the Commonwealth, but all are welcome to attend any session that is convenient for them. Join us for virtual coffee and conversation with Michael. Advanced registration is required.
