The FY25 round of Cultural Facilities Fund (CFF) applications are now available to support the planning and construction of cultural buildings across Massachusetts. The board of MassDevelopment, Mass Cultural Council’s partner in administering the Fund, voted this morning to approve this new funding.

Up to $7 million will be granted to support repairs, renovations, new construction, and acquisition projects. Planning grants are also available for analysis, design, and feasibility studies that relate to a cultural facility.

Entities that are eligible to apply include 501(c)3 organizations that are primarily concerned with the arts, humanities, or sciences, as well as municipalities and colleges that own cultural facilities that serve the public.

Sign up for the virtual information session on October 22, 2024 to learn more about the program and the application process, or drop into staff office hours occurring every week throughout the grant cycle.

The application deadline is December 19, 2024.

Next week, we will be celebrating newly awarded grants made in the most recent round of CFF funding, as well as the launch of the FY25 grant application cycle. Join officials from Mass Cultural Council, MassDevelopment, State Sen. Jo Comerford, State Rep. Mindy Domb, other elected leaders, and cultural organizations at the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Amherst on October 18, 2024 at 1pm. Register for the grant celebration.
