We are grateful to these 51 cultural organizations committed to a more accessible cultural sector
Mass Cultural Council is proud to partner with the Department of Transitional Assistance, Massachusetts Health Connector, and the Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program on Card to Culture, the nation’s most comprehensive effort to expand cultural access for low-income and working families.
To date, more than 450 participating Card to Culture organizations have provided more than 1 million free or steeply-discounted admissions for Massachusetts residents of limited means.
Over the last year, we’ve received more than 150 applications from organizations looking to join Card to Culture and further access, community connection, and cultural engagement. We’ll be acknowledging some of these new organizations – along with longer-standing participants in this program – in a series of posts like this in the months to come.
Please help us thank these Card to Culture organizations! We value their resolute efforts in making the cultural sector accessible to everyone and are excited by what we can achieve together.
