For a second year, Mass Cultural Council’s Tribal Cultural Council (TCC) Program will support Native American and Indigenous communities by providing funds for tribal governments to grant to projects in the arts, humanities, and sciences that provide benefit to the tribal communities.

Grants are now available from four TCCs to support projects that meet their specific tribal criteria:

The TCC Program was inspired by the long, successful history of local autonomy and community driven decisions that are cornerstones of the Agency’s Local Cultural Council Program. It was also shaped by our Racial Equity Plan as well as the recent Native American & Indigenous Peoples Equity Plan.

To apply to the TCC Program:

  1. Read about the TCC Program application process.
  2. Download the TCC Program Guidelines (PDF).
  3. Check out Council Profiles to learn about tribal priorities before you apply.
  4. Set up a user account and profile in the Agency’s grants management system.

The application deadline is October 16, 2025 at 11:59pm (ET).
