Westfield Cultural Council

The Westfield Cultural Council is a commission of the City made up of mayorally-appointed members. The main purpose of the WCC is to allocate grant monies annually from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. We aim to make Westfield a little brighter and more welcoming by enabling the growth of arts and culture right at home.

FY27 Local Priorities

The WCC’s mission is to enhance the cultural vitality of Westfield by enabling the growth of local arts and culture. Funds are awarded to programs that contribute to the community’s cultural life.

FY27 Local Guidelines

All Events must take place in Westfield, have a venue and a date. All Events must comply with MACC and WCC program guidelines to be considered for funding. Applications must include plans to acknowledge WCC as a source of funding in ALL printed materials and reimbursement requests must include copies of publicity materials. Failure to do so may compromise future grant funding. A copy of the WCC logo will be provided on request. Any requests for changes to events must be submitted in writing for council approval.
