Veronica Boucher is a mixed-media artist whose work merges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary processes. Drawing from cloisonné techniques, she constructs her pieces through a precise combination of sculptural elements, wirework, resin, and modern fabrication methods, including 3D printing.
Born unilaterally deaf, Boucher experiences visual art as a primary mode of perception and communication. Within these carefully built works, she intentionally incorporates subtle hidden mistakes that reference the experience of living with a hidden disability. These elements are often not immediately visible, mirroring the ways disability can exist beneath the surface while still shaping perception and interaction.
