Photography is my lifelong passion, ignited on my 8th birthday when I received my first camera – a Polaroid. This continued into my adult life, through my years in North Carolina as a printer & film photographer. I still enjoy returning to my photographic roots, shooting with one of the many film cameras that I collect.
I currently reside in Franklin, MA and shoot mostly digital. In the past I photographed primarily landscapes, seascapes, macro, & documentary. The subject of my most recent work is “all things abandoned” including; mills, factories, junkyards, etc… My work is a good balance of color and black & white and I tend to avoid any type of digital manipulation of my images. I am constantly exploring new subjects as well as new techniques – there is nothing more rewarding.
I am a core artist member of the Fountain Street Fine Art Gallery. I am a member of the Danforth Art Museum, Attleboro Arts Museum, Cambridge Art Association, Cape Cod Art Association and the Franklin Art Association. I graduated the Digital Photography Certificate Program at the Rhode Island School of Design in the Spring of 2010.
When not out photographing I spend my time with my husband John and two children; John, 13 years old and Lillian, 10 years old.
