Minni

Founded in 2018 by designer Kelly Harris Smith, Minni’s programs are designed by experienced art educators and early childhood development specialists with a deep belief in art education and thoughtful play. Students are empowered to effectively communicate and explore their unique ideas through regular vocabulary, collaboration and class discussions. 

Minni steers clear of plastics and consciously creates with natural and recycled materials. Off-site, Minni partners with educational institutions and community groups to give broader accessibility to Minni’s creative classes. Minni’s school partnerships span all across Boston, determining the right programming for each school. Minni’s unique art and design concepts complement existing arts curriculums and enhance early childhood programs.

With two studio locations in the Boston area, located in the South End and Beacon Hill, Minni offers children ages 18 months to 10 years an inspirational place to celebrate the beauty of art and design, alongside supportive and trained educators to guide their technique and processes. Minni is a space and a method.
