Tim Lorenzo loves sawdust. It has been a consistent positive in his life. Growing up building and remodeling homes provided a lot of “scrap” material to explore. Tim has celebrated the creation of sawdust in a variety of ways from modern penthouses to historic clock towers. As an artist and creative fabricator, he has designed and produced sculpture and installations for public and private use.
Tim’s work softens hard places and invites an audience to an approachable, textural experience. He is not just an artist or woodworker, but also a designer and builder – a contemporary artist with a passion for nature and history. The connection of temporary natural beauty and the timelessness of art is an inspiration and a motivation for him. The sculptures and installations created by Tim strive to inspire curiosity or a moment of pause. Creations of his can be seen at the Franklin Park and Stone zoo, private and corporate installations and public areas like the Everett greenway.
