L A Textile Atelier

I work in two disciplines: My professional engagement as Designer and Teaching Artisan spans over five decades. I free-lanced most of the time and work in my own studio since many years. I worked in the Textile Industry, my work is informed by hands-on craftsmanship however. I have degrees in Textile and Graphic Design. Since living in New England I specialize in documenting Plants, by imprinting them onto paper and fabrics. I exhibit often, and teach adults and children. I am developing activity / lesson plans that enable groups and communities to weave metaphorical fabric of societies (they envision or allow to emerge).
