Artist Statement

My art practice is a dynamic intersection of cultural and philosophical traditions. As a visual artist and Arabic calligrapher, I am guided by the principles of Islamic philosophy of art which is informed by Western art theories. This synthesis is the foundation of my work, bridging historical tradition with contemporary conceptual frameworks.

My creative exploration revolves around the core themes of unity, geometry, and language. Geometry is utilized as a universal structure that visually articulates the concept of unity. Language, through Arabic calligraphy, becomes a kinetic and spiritual form that transcends text. I execute this vision across diverse mediums, allowing the conceptual rigor of my practice to manifest in varied material expressions. Ultimately, my art seeks to engage in a contemporary dialogue that honors the depth of these philosophical and cultural traditions.
