My work is in private collections from Paris to LA. I’m an all-in-one painter, photographic artist, and designer. I heartily pull from, straddle, and create within both the worlds of art and commerce. I have also created community-based public art.
I bring nearly twenty years of experience conceiving and producing innovative visual art projects that broaden the audience for contemporary art. My career began on Cape Cod, as an exhibiting artist and working in galleries and at the Provincetown Art Association & Museum, where I founded the art organization Abstraction Made Elementary (AME).
I was shaped by nature. My process always begins there, then ends in abstract form. Even though I’ve been gazing at the bright blue rays of TV since childhood—and into the hot yellow sun of pop culture in America—again and again it is to nature that I return. It is the filter that informs my work.
As a trained artist with entrepreneurial, event conception and design experience, I have won awards and launched numerous exhibitions and public art projects.
As an independent curator I have created group exhibitions featuring notable artists such as Ellen Gallagher and Andy Warhol.
I have taught or been a visiting artist with various venues, including the Fuller Museum of Art, Provincetown Art Association & Museum, and the Rhode Island School of Design.
