Ian Babylon

I am a multi-media artist who lives and works along the riverside lands of the Indigenous Massachusett peoples. Ian’s background and continued passion for Anthropology and Art History fuse in an array of expression: from hand-cut collage to free monthly full moon dances. Dada, Absurdism, & Satire help him cope with minding the Abyss of Terminal Stage Capitalism. Themes of power, community, alternative pasts and futures, and ecological salvation flow together into the primary currents of his work while navigating the Living River of time and space.
