Heather Parker is a photographer and glitch artist in Boston, Massachusetts. Heather studied Photography, receiving a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston. She has gone beyond documentary photojournalism working with her digital images in alternative software programs traditionally built for other media. Manipulating her photographs through back-end code tweaks and working with the files in audio software, Heather has created abstractions from photography.
Heather has been in exhibitions in Boston and Chicago and has had her work featured in the Palm Springs Life, Delta Sky, Chicago Tribune, Time Out Chicago, Boston Magazine and Boston Metro.
