As a life long creative person, Carolyn discovered glass in the summer of 2004. Taking a class with Stephanie Maddalena, she was instantly addicted to lampworking, the art of making glass beads using a small torch. Carolyn is now a Cape Cod wash-ashore, working in lampworking in an area with a rich history of glass manufactoring. Education is an important part of her journey and she has both taken classses (with Cynthia Saari and Jennifer Geldard), and has demonstrated numerous times at craft fairs and summer camps.
