Giovina Ferrante-George

I am a working visual artist and public school educator.  

I have taught drawing, painting, found art assemblage, and origami to people of all ages, including children and adults with disabilities, through community organizations and also in public schools.  I also work as a special education teacher in a middle school in Central Massachusetts.  I teach students with moderate disabilities and enjoy creating interdisciplinary lessons in all curriculum areas, especially those that incorporate the visual arts.

I have shown my own artwork in galleries in Maine, Florida, and Massachusetts and also work on commission. 

I have a BFA degree in Painting from the Maine College of Art and a MSEd degree in Moderate Disabilities from Bay Path College.
