Emily Shedlock (she/her) is a visual artist and freelance designer based in Boston, MA. Shedlock received a BFA in Interior Design with a minor in Fine Arts from The New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University in 2015.
Emily has over a decade of experience working in the residential interior design field, working under designers, architects and prestigious luxury furniture brands known worldwide. In addition to a design background, she has a passion for visual arts and painting, with a focus on portraiture and figurative work. Emily offers custom portrait commission services.
Emily is proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, hand drafting and rendering. In addition to programming, Emily is a team player and enjoys collaborating with other creatives. She has experience with project management, leading and training other team members, and partnering with the top high-end residential interior designers and architects in the Boston and New England area.
Emily’s visual artwork has been exhibited at the Danforth Art Museum, Boston City Hall, Cambridge Arts Association, Gallery NAGA, Art League Rhode Island, Providence Art Club and Newburyport Art Association. Her work has been featured in Artypants Magazine, Issue 03 and Zone 3’s Art In Print series, Volume 19. She is also a recipient of the 2025 Mass Cultural Council Grants for Creative Individuals.
