Emily Cobb

Emily Cobb makes conceptual, process-based, and interdicipinary work.  Grounded in a movement and contempletive practice, Emily makes charcoal drawings, watercolors, oils, installations, performace, and audio.  In addition to her studio work, Emily produces a podcast called Hot Bath and is a seasoned professional gardener.

A brief note about my work:

It is my intention for my art to provide shelter for subtle sensory experiences and an open receptive quality of contemplation. I strive to affect spaces, both physically and emotionally, and provide opportunities for reflection, affirmation and growth: play for the disenchanted, friendliness & curiosity toward the mutable self.
