Being an artist from Maine, my inspiration is derived from the beauty in nature surrounding me. I love finding the craziness in the worlds’ elements. Currently living in the city of Boston, I compare the hectic Boston traffic and lively city-goers to the rushing streams and wind thrashing leaves. I am not an artist that is defined by one category, my artwork has a diverse range of styles depending which artistic hat I put on.
My artwork includes bright, eclectic contemporary art styles as well as whimsical watercolors, Boston cityscapes and New England landscapes and scenery. I see beauty in all things, depending on what I paint, I associate a different artistic style with what surrounds me and what I’m inspired by. Looking at my pieces, the viewer gets a glimpse of how I see the world, a colorful, lively, beautiful place. I hope my works of art spark a memory, a place of happiness or a creative journey in each viewer.
