Jeff Kesses started East Coast Portraits in 1999. Jeff attended Dean College in Franklin, MA and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. In 1989 he was selected to be the Artist in Resident at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA. It was in the Berkshires that he began exhibiting in galleries in Western Massachusetts and upper state New York. Jeff returned to Boston in 1993 to continue his professional career as an artist. He has done portraits and murals for many companies and private clients across the United States and Asia. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Joslin Diabetes Center and Harvard Business School Publishing are just a few of institutions he has done commissioned artwork for. Jeff is available to give painting demonstrations in still life and portraiture. He can also be hired to give drawing and painting instruction for group or one on one sessions.
