Rhonda M. Fazio is the founder of Dyer Maker Studio specializing in natural color and sustainable textile design. A traveling studio based in the South Coast, Ms. Fazio teaches the art and history of textile design to a new generation of up and coming entrepreneurs. Rhonda has written a number of grants as a series of educational workshops aptly named: “Teaching through Textiles” for secondary schools and adults. Dyer Maker Studio is located in the heart of New Bedford’s Whaling National Park.
Dyer Maker Studio is a transportable textile maker space teaching classes in natural dyes, weaving, and spinning in America and abroad. Rhonda will be touring the Commonwealth with her “Dyeing to Wear It” workshop in the Spring of 2020.
