Cartoonist and art educator, Cara Bean, is the author of Here I Am, I Am Me: An Illustrated Guide to Mental Health. She provides mindful drawing and cartooning workshops. She has fun presentations for both kids and adults that include playful drawing activities. She also trains educators who want to incorporate drawing activities in their classrooms. Cara focuses on the mental health benefits of drawing and engages participants in applying cartooning concepts to various topics.
All group sizes are welcome. Of course, individuals get more out of the workshop in smaller groups, but if you’ve got 100 people ready to draw, she would be happy to lead them. Cara believes that the world would be a healthier place if we learned to doodle more in our daily lives.
