I have been practicing the traditional Turkish art of ebru (also known as paper marbling) since 2016. For me, it’s more than just a hobby, it’s a passion. Ebru is the art of creating patterns on the surface of water using special dyes, then transferring those unique designs onto paper. What fascinates me the most is that no two pieces are ever exactly the same; each one is truly one of a kind.
Over time, I’ve developed my own style by experimenting with different techniques and using ebru as a way to express myself. Watching the colors dance on water and witnessing the final, unpredictable outcome always excites me.
In addition to ebru, I also love drawing and creating visual art in general. Art gives me a space to express my emotions and thoughts. I enjoy exploring various styles and mediums, and I’m constantly looking to grow and enrich my artistic journey.
