As a not-for-profit historic preservation development firm, Architectural Heritage Foundation (AHF) has been instrumental in forging a critical link between preservation and development in Massachusetts for more than thirty years. A pioneer in the adaptive reuse movement since its founding in 1966, AHF successfully redeveloped Boston’s historic Old City Hall and continues to offer a preservationist perspective to conventional real estate ventures and building management and stewardship issues.
AHF seeks to work with individuals, trusteeships, community groups, and civic organizations to provide commercially viable alternatives for historic structures in need of rehabilitation.
