Wilmington Cultural Council
The Wilmington Cultural Council’s mission is to improve the quality of life in Wilmington and to help educate the community about the arts.
The Council priorities are to promote excellence in the arts and to make the arts accessible to all residents by supporting local artists, allocating grants, funding programs for seniors, schools and youth groups in Wilmington, and supporting library events and activities.
This year the Wilmington Cultural Council will give priority to:
Programs and projects that serve the youth of the community
Events and programs for the elderly
Applicants that have secured a local venue
Programs that demonstrate the ability to support diverse forms of cultural activities.
The Wilmington Cultural Council will only be accepting applications submitted via the online system this year.
The Wilmington Cultural Council tries to spread the grant money to many different groups with local ties. Our grants go to the library, the seniors, the schools and the general population.
