The West Brookfield Cultural Council strives to fund artists and organizations offering a variety of cultural programs taking place within West Brookfield itself.

1.) We require that projects have a sponsoring agency/venue in our community with a contact and with date and times in place.

FY23 Local Priorities

The West Brookfield Cultural Council gathers input from the community yearly and develops funding priorities based on this feedback. This year the West Brookfield Cultural Council will give priority to:

Applicants that have secured a local venue, with date and time of the event in place.

FY23 Local Guidelines

In addition to the state criteria applications will be evaluated using the following review criteria:

– Ability to address the diverse cultural needs of the community’s populations.
– Financial need
– Demonstrated planning
– Preference will be given to community members who reside in West Brookfield, but outside applications with a venue and date secured within the town will be welcomed.
