FY22 Local Priorities
The Walpole Cultural Council has surveyed community members online and in person to solicit feedback on its 2021-22 priorities. The responses we’ve received have indicated that the community’s interests in cultural programming have been significantly affected by our extraordinary social circumstances–namely, the ongoing global pandemic and national reckoning on matters of race and culture. Specifically, the community has indicated a wish for the Walpole Cultural Council to prioritize programming in the areas of music; nature and science; and cultural diversity. In addition, we believe it will be important to prioritize programs that remain accessible to the public given current social distancing guidelines.
