Sterling Cultural Council
Building Community Bridges; creating a close-knit community by sponsoring and supporting activities and events that bring the diverse elements of our community together for enjoyment and cultural enrichment.

Our council aims to:
– Recruit new members, of all ages to better suit the guidelines of the Cultural Council. Create more diversity. Increase youth programing. In 2023 we established a pollcy to encourage more high school and young adult members. Interested youth should call Judy Doherty, Chairperson, to apply.
– We strive to bring something for everyone in all factions of the Arts and Sciences. Outreach efforts to promote the grant application process.

1. Grant Recipients must do their own advertising.
2. Grants must include a place where the event will take place locally. Please secure permission to use that space before hand.
3. Food may be included in the budget.
4. Scholarships are allowed.
