FY25 Local Priorities
The Springfield Cultural Council believes that art is a universal language that transcends boundaries and connects people from all walks of life. SCC is committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment where creativity
thrives through diverse perspectives, backgrounds and experiences. We will continue to celebrate the rich culture and art, which create the vibrancy in our communities. We invite you to support, celebrate, explore and join with us in this journey. SCC Prioritize funding for under-funded communities, including BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities, individuals with disabilities, low-income communities, and individual artists.
FY25 Local Guidelines
The Springfield Cultural Council allows individuals, community organizations, and local businesses to apply for grants. The amount of funding ranges between $250 – $5,000. Only two applications are allowed per grantee. No capital expenditures will be allowed. It is highly recommended that all grantees attend, “Pitch Night”. This event is held each granting season to connect SCC commissioners with grantees. It also allows grantees to share information with each other to form collaborative relationships.
