FY25 Local Priorities
Priority is given to events, programs and activities that take place in Shirley and/or surrounding areas that serve Shirley residents and are sponsored or supported by a local Shirley organization.
FY25 Local Guidelines
Fiscal Year 2025 Local Guidelines:
Applications and supplemental materials must be submitted online in accordance with state guidelines.
Applicants must have a specified venue with a tentative date, and time to be considered for grant approval.
Activities must take place in an accessible facility.
Applicants who have partnered with a Shirley organization must submit a letter of support.
The scheduled project should take place during the current MCC funding cycle (January – December 2025).
Proposals are evaluated in terms of the following considerations:
Benefit to the community
Quality of the activity
Evidence of planning (project dates, times, and venue secured)
Qualifications of the individual(s) who will lead the activity
Track record of the sponsoring group
