FY25 Allocation

$30,700

FY25 Local Priorities

The Salem Cultural Council (SCC) is pleased to be one of the local cultural councils in Massachusetts to award funds in partnership with the Massachusetts Cultural Council. These funds are granted to qualified individuals and organizations to support cultural projects that benefit the Salem community. We use our allocations to support community-based activities in the arts, humanities, history, and interpretive sciences. The Salem Cultural Council is committed to supporting a wide variety of projects that represent and serve the broad diversity of the Salem community.

FY25 Local Guidelines

The Salem Cultural Council (SCC) prioritizes local applicants and programs. We seek art and cultural projects that will serve and inspire the Salem community and highlight the history, diverse culture, and positive attributes of our city. Programs that have received SCC funding for multiple years may have a lower funding priority so that we may consider new applications. All funding grants are limited. Each SCC funded project must be completed within the calendar year (2025).
