Rockland Cultural Council
The purpose of the Rockland Cultural Council (RCC) is to provide arts and cultural programs of excellence to our citizens. It is our goal to tap the resources of as many of the arts as possible to provide diverse programming for all age groups. We try to touch as large a percentage of people as possible with each event.
Many programs and activities are free or limited in cost, thanks to grants awarded to various organizations, municipal services, or individuals. Community members who attended the 4th Floor Artists Open Studios, Rockland Day concerts, registered children for Rockland Memorial Library’s Summer Reading Program, or take advantage of using library museum passes know the benefits of the Rockland Cultural Council. They also know why we boast about our amazing arts & culture community. It’s vibrant and thriving!
Arts & Culture is everywhere around Rockland. Visit www.rockland-ma.gov/394/Rockland-Cultural-Council to learn more. We encourage citizens to attend community events, participate in activities, become a member, or get involved as a volunteer. #PowerOfCulture

FY25 Local Guidelines
The purpose of Rockland Cultural Council (RCC) is to provide arts and cultural programs of excellence to our citizens. RCC always welcomes the representative of an application during the Application Review process (please refer to open meeting notifications).
RCC receives a large number of applications for a limited amount of funds. In the interest of making funds available to a greater number of applicants, we sometimes do not supply the full requested amount, but only a portion.
RCC requires applicants to apply for one program per grant request.
RCC does not consider costs for coverage of transportation for reimbursement.
