The Richmond Cultural Council is committed to providing cultural opportunities for Richmond residents and students. Our goal is to support cultural events within the school, town and county therefore enabling access to the arts for all ages and encouraging a community passion for the arts in all its forms.

FY22 Local Priorities
Applicants are strongly urged to apply electronically. Paper applications will also be accepted for FY2017. To request a copy of the paper application, please contact us via the contact info listed on the Council Information tab.
A cover letter must be sent as a supplement with each application addressing the following questions:
I. How many Richmond residents have participated in this program previously and how will it benefit Richmond citizens?
II. If the application is for a program to be held in Richmond, please send a statement from the host location agreeing to host.
Based on the results of the 2016 Richmond Community Input survey, the council will prioritize funding for:
I. Arts, humanities and science programs in the community
II. Youth arts education
III. Support for community organizations and local artists and musicians

2. I f you plan to hold the program in Richmond, what venue will you be using and have you discussed it with that venue?
3. List at least 2 previous locations where your program has been presented?
