Plainfield Cultural Council
The Palinfield Cultural Council accepts applications for cultural and art events and projects that enhance and enrich through art and humanities. We receive funds from the Massachusetts Cultural council annually and the Council meets to review all eligible applications in the Fall. The funds are allocated based on the Massachusetts Cultural Council guidelines while considering projects that will enhance the lives of Plainfield residents.

The Plainfield Cultural Council focuses its funding on applications that will impact the greatest number of its residents, regardless of whether the actual projects take place in Plainfield or in neighboring towns. We strongly encourage applicants for in-town programs to work with local partners to identify appropriate venues and target audiences for their project, and to indicate such on their applications.
