Oakham Cultural Council
The Oakham Cultural Council exists to promote cultural activities in the Oakham community. Each year, OCC grants support a variety of experiences in the arts, sciences, and humanities that engage residents of all ages – from pre-school children to elders – in the worlds of the visual arts, crafts, music, and literature. Organizations, schools, and individuals receiving grants from the OCC bring to the town a wide range of experiences, from workshops and lecture-demonstrations to live artistic performances. The OCC also supports arts-related field trips to outside venues. The OCC’s over-arching mission is to enrich the quality of life for residents of our area through making the arts accessible to all.
