North Andover Cultural Council
The North Andover Cultural Council is a group of interested residents whose purpose is to support community-based projects and activities in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences to benefit the residents of North Andover. The North Andover Select Board appoints us to dispense public funding allocated by Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. We are responsible for informing the public about the availability of public funding for cultural projects and for reviewing and approving applications. The budget of the MCC is determined annually by the Massachusetts State Legislature.

The North Andover Cultural Council funding priorities include
Proposals featuring collaborations between cultural organizations
Proposals appealing to a multi-generational spectrum of the community (for example: students, adults, or seniors)
Proposals seeking to generate greater communication and collaboration between cultural organizations and greater awareness of the diversity of culture in the community.
FY27 Local Guidelines
PLEASE NOTE: Proposals from artists, humanists, or organizations who have not made an agreement with a specific local venue or organization before applying will not be considered for funding. A letter of support from a host venue is required for consideration.
