Montgomery Cultural Council

The Montgomery Cultural Council gives priority to projects and programs that support local youth and senior programs, new applicants or projects, projects that emphasize cultural diversity, and projects that take place in a local venue and show local community support.

Montgomery Cultural Council Priorities and Applicant Guidelines:

– Clearly defined goals and benefits to Montgomery residents and/or surrounding Hilltown communities.

– Identified secured venue and date with a letter of support.

– If more than one application is submitted by the same artist or cultural group, the projects must vary significantly.

– Projects involving any local regional school or educational facility should request funding from all member towns of the school or educational facility district.

– No partial payments; reimbursement is made upon completion of the project with supporting documentation that includes but is not limited to: public acknowledgement of funding from the Montgomery Cultural Council and the Mass Cultural Council, and evidence of advertising and attendance/participation in the event.

– Applications must be submitted via the online application form found in the ‘Apply Now’ tab on the Mass Cultural Council/LLC Program webpage.

The listed priorities and guidelines are in addition to state criteria as outlined on the MCC/LLC Program webpage.
