Monterey Cultural Council

The Mission of the Monterey Cultural Council is to provide all members of our community to a diversity of cultural opportunities. This year the Monterey Cultural Council will give priority to:
• Year-round access to the arts, humanities and science programs and events.
• Applicants that have or who plan to secure a Berkshire-area venue
• Grassroots projects and those that need “seed money”
• Projects that represent a diversity of programming, especially those that focus on local history and our indigenous legacy

In addition to the state mandatory requirements, the Monterey Cultural Council will evaluate applications using the following review criteria:

* Evidence of track record and/or capacity to complete the project

* Financial need

* Evidence of sufficient planning
