Methuen Cultural Council
The Cultural Council is made up of volunteers who the City Council appoints for a term of three years. The Cultural Council functions under guidelines established by Mass Cultural Council (MCC), which allocates funding to each community. The mission of the Methuen Cultural Council is to support public projects that promote access, education, diversity, and excellence in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences in the community or benefit our community. The Council offers support by awarding grants from state-allocated funds to individuals and organizations. The Council aims to act as an advisory group to town committees, boards, and departments promoting the arts and cultural attributes of Methuen.
