Martha's Vineyard Cultural Council
The Martha’s Vineyard Cultural Council is part of the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s Local Cultural Council program, formed more than a quarter century ago. The MVCC’s mission is to promote excellence, access, education, and diversity in the arts, humanities and interpretative sciences for the purpose of improving the quality of life for all of the Island’s residents.
1059 State Rd
West Tisbury, MA 02575
FY22 Local Priorities
-Priority will be given to events scheduled to benefit the year-round community of Martha’s Vineyard.
-Grant applicants who are not based in one of the six towns of the Island of Martha’s Vineyard must include a letter of support from a Martha’s Vineyard partner or host specifically describing how this project would benefit the Island community.
-Under program guidelines, you have one year from the date of the award letter to complete your project and request reimbursement.
-If you need time beyond December 1 to complete your project and request reimbursement, you must request an extension from the council by October 1. Granting of that extension is not automatic and is subject to the vote of the full council.
