Marblehead Cultural Council
What We Do
The Marblehead Cultural Council is one of 329 local and regional councils that represent 351 cities and towns in the Commonwealth that are funded directly from the Massachusetts Cultural Council to support community cultural, artistic, scientific interpretive programming and humanities and historical programs and activities. Board members are appointed by the Select Board.
We encourage local residents and organizations (both non-profit and for-profit) to submit applications which we review each fall and award grants for the following year.
Our website can be found at http://www.marbleheadculturalcouncil.org
The Cultural Council schedules meetings throughout the year based on need, roughly every two months.
Further information may also be found on the Town of Marblehead website, MarbleheadMA.gov (formerly Marblehead.org), or at [email protected], or by contacting the Chair.
