FY23 Local Priorities
GRANT CRITERIA/COUNCIL PRIORITIES
The Lee Cultural Council gathers input from the community yearly and develops funding priorities based on this feedback. This year the Lee Cultural Council will give priority to programs that include music, theater, dance, audience interaction, and learning opportunities, throughout Berkshire County, and which:
· benefit residents and visitors to Lee
· benefit underserved populations
· foster exposure to other cultures
· encourage critical and creative thinking
FY23 Local Guidelines
Applicants should indicate a venue and proposed date(s) for the program, as well as a letter of support from the proposed venue, with the understanding that the programs that we fund are scheduled to take place from January through December 31st.
We fund through reimbursement only, not the direct grant program. The reimbursement form should be mailed to the Lee LCC, 32 Main St., Lee, MA 01238 with proof of the program taking place and a W-9 form.
If funded, applicants may receive partial funding only, and are therefore strongly encouraged to seek additional financial support for their project.
