The Hampden Cultural Council seeks to support the arts and education at the local level. We welcome grant applications that specifically support the citizens of Hampden. Grant requests may be for any generational level or may include multi generations.

Hampden Cultural Council Local Guidelines:
1.Preference is given to qualified local individuals and organizations who demonstrate a clear cultural benefit for the Hampden Community.
2.Although it is not required, preference will be given to those who work with a Hampden sponsor or venue. Applicants are encouraged to seek additional sponsorship or work with a Hampden organization, such as the library, school, community organization, or Hampden Cultural Council in planning the event.
3.All programs must have a publicity plan for the proposed activity and credit must be evident for sponsorship by the Hampden Cultural Council in all publicity related to the event.
4.Local council funds are not intended to be used as the sole source of funding for projects of a continuing nature. An applicant may possibly receive funding for the same project for three consecutive years. Funding cannot be approved for the same specific project for a fourth consecutive year.
5.Hampden Cultural Council does not guarantee full funding. Partial funding may be granted.
6.The Cultural Council encourages applicants to develop new programs that meet the cultural needs of Hampden residents.
