Gosnold Cultural Council

The Cultural Council for the Town of Gosnold is the Gosnold Cultural Council. Our mission is to create, preserve and promote culture–through the arts, sciences, and humanities. We strive to achieve our mission by awarding grants to individuals from our island community. We also provide funds to bring artists and others to our island community to enhance the Island community. In evaluating grant requests, we aim to promote programs that will meet the interests of our community which include for example (though not limited to): musical and dramatic performances, nature and environmental awareness, art practice and appreciation (including painting classes, a youth theater camp, and our annual Plein Air Festival), and intergenerational activities (like square dancing).
