Georgetown Cultural Council
Mission:
The Georgetown Cultural Council (GCC) is a Town appointed group of volunteers who strive to bring creative arts, sciences and humanities to the citizens of Georgetown through their advocacy, leadership and vision. The GCC funds exemplary artists, arts organizations, and provides programs, events and services of public value that educate and engage all audiences in our community. The GCC provides access to the arts for people of all cultural backgrounds, economic status, sexual orientation, age and physical ability and ensures broad public access to the arts. We further believe in and maintain high standards of management and governance as directed by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and our Town’s Selectmen, which support the health and vibrancy of the arts community.

FY23 Local Guidelines
The Georgetown Cultural Council (GCC) requires all Grant Applications that propose being onsite at a venue that the applicant includes documentation from said venue that states they want the activity to take place in their venue i.e. if you say your event will take place at the Georgetown Library, you include documentation from the Georgetown Library endorsing said event.
